GREAT Violin Teacher for Online Violin School

Then become part of my team at The Violinacademy! I’m looking for an amazing violin teacher to mentor our adult students online.
The Violinacademy is the largest online violin school in German. This year, we began expanding into English, and we are now the fastest-growing online violin school worldwide.
Our mission is to enable anyone, regardless of age or talent, to learn to play the violin beautifully through our structured, step-by-step online curriculum and personalized mentoring with the best teachers.
Your Mission:
Your role is to mentor and inspire adult violin students as they progress through our structured Violin Pyramid Method — ensuring they not only improve technically but also enjoy every step of their learning journey.
You will also be the second English teacher I hire. You will work directly with me, Antoine Morales, the founder and CEO, and help me adapt the methods.
Students will learn using the Violin Pyramid Method that I developed based on the methods of the most successful violin teachers in history.
Our curriculum consists of 15 levels, each containing 12–16 weekly lessons.
Each lesson includes a 60-minute video in which students learn exactly what to do and how to do it, and then practice with me many times.
Additionally, each lesson includes a structured checklist and exercises that can be repeated using our interactive software.
Every two weeks, the students will send you a video of them playing. You will then record yourself analyzing the video (15 minutes of time is assigned per analysis) and provide positive and critical feedback, highlighting:
- 1. What they did right
- 2. What they did wrong, and
- 3. How to correct it.
In parallel, students are required to fill out a practice journal daily so you know exactly what they practiced and for how long.
Once per month, you will conduct a 20-minute one-on-one meeting with the student to review their practice journal and their most recent video. Based on that, you will provide recommendations for the next month and write their practice plan based on The Violinacademy curriculum and personalized to the student’s unique challenges and opportunities.
To help the students and ensure quality control, all meetings are recorded. You will also be evaluated by the students periodically.
Absolutely needed:
- You must be based in the US.
- Experience: 5+ years of teaching.
- You studied the violin at a professional level.
- Commitment to professionalism – all lessons are conducted in concert attire.
- A good, stable internet connection.
- You need one room for work only, free of interruptions and distractions.
- One of your workdays should be on the weekend.
- You speak English fluently.
- Adaptability: You will be expected to learn and teach the Violin Pyramid Method.

What you get:
- Higher-than-average compensation: per year

- Long-term work: You will start with 10 hours per week for a one-month trial period. Following this, you will be hired on a full-time, 40-hour-per-week contract.

P.S. We will need to hire an additional violin teacher every three to four months over the next year. Even if you are not selected this time, if you meet all of our requirements, we may be able to make you an offer later on. We will also be interested in teachers from other countries, but you will need to speak English as well as a native speaker.
