Will this work for me?
If you are an adult beginner and can commit to following our guidance for 15 minutes a day, then yes, it will work for you. In fact, we guarantee that within 12 months, you will be able to play simple pieces on the violin beautifully.

The first part of The Violinacademy is a step-by-step programme with ten different levels. Once you have started with Level 1, you will have access to weekly, step-by-step lessons. Each lesson includes a 60-minute in-depth video tutorial. You will see exactly what to do, how to do it, and practise with Antoine several times. You will also receive a checklist, sheet music, and interactive practice exercises with loop functions, a metronome, speed control, and much more. Everything you need to master the violin, step by step.
The second part of The Violinacademy focuses on mentoring. Every week, you will receive exclusive mentoring from one of our world-class violin teachers.
Every two weeks, you will be asked to record yourself playing the violin. Your teacher will then create a short video showing you exactly what you are doing right and wrong and how to correct your mistakes. This ensures that you always learn to play the violin properly.
Once a month, you will also have a planning meeting with your teacher. He will review everything you have done and, based on your progress and availability, create your practice plan for the month.
You will also have an individual lesson with your teacher once a month, where he will help you with your most challenging difficulties. If you have any questions, your teacher will be available every day to support you at every stage of your journey.
This means that every day, even if you only have 15 minutes, you will know exactly what to practise, how to practise it, and how long to practise for.

Will I learn alone without a teacher?
No, one of our world-class violin teachers will personally mentor and teach you to help you reach your goals.
Is this only for beginners?
No, if you can already play the violin but don’t like how you sound, then this is the right place for you! First, you will learn to play the violin beautifully. Then we will extend your technique with shifting, positions, vibrato, and so on.
There are 10 levels, and you will start at the level that is right for you.
I am too old to start?

What if I can't read music or have no previous musical experience?
You don’t need any previous musical experience to start with The Violinacademy. Every week, you will learn what you need to know. This includes learning to read music, and you will see that it’s really easy.
How much time would I need?
You will need at least one hour each week for the lesson and 15 minutes each day for practising. So 2.5 hours weekly. If you have more time, we will of course adapt the programme to suit you so that you can learn even faster.
I am very busy. Can the programme be adapted to me?
