Cancellation Policy

Right of withdrawal · Version 2.0 · September 2026

Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal under the following conditions. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession.

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Morales Violin Education GmbH, Giselbertstraße 14, 51429 Bergisch Gladbach, Germany, phone +49 176 9875 8868, e-mail info@theviolinacademy.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an e-mail). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.

You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online at https://theviolinacademy.com/en/withdraw-from-contract. If you use this online function, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without undue delay, stating the content of your withdrawal declaration and the date and time of its receipt.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

If you requested to begin the performance of services during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated to us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.

Expiry of the right of withdrawal

For a contract for the provision of services, the right of withdrawal also expires when we have fully performed the service, if before performance began you expressly agreed that we begin before the end of the withdrawal period and confirmed that you are aware that your right of withdrawal ends once the contract has been fully performed.

For a contract for the supply of digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal also expires when we have begun performance, if you expressly agreed that we begin before the end of the withdrawal period, confirmed that you are aware that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal, and we have provided you with a confirmation of the contract on a durable medium.

Unless we ask you for such an agreement when you order and you give it, your right of withdrawal is not affected by these rules.

What you get back. Everything you paid, within 14 days, to the payment method you used. If you asked us to start your programme before the 14 days were over, you pay only a proportionate share of the price for what we provided until your withdrawal reached us; the rest is refunded.

After the withdrawal period. Your membership runs as agreed in your contract. You can always cancel it in text form, by e-mail or with the form behind Cancel contracts here.
